Terms of Service

These terms explain what you get when you order a website from Tidypage, what we need from you, and what happens if something goes wrong. Please read them before you pay. By ticking the boxes at checkout and completing your payment, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Tidypage is a service operated by Hoang Films Limited, a company registered in to be completed: company jurisdiction under number to be completed: company registration number, with its registered address at to be completed: company address ("Tidypage", "we", "us").

You can reach us at hello@tidypage.app.

In these terms, "you" means the person or business placing the order. If you order on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that business to these terms.

2. The offer

We sell one product: a custom website for a fixed price of 500 USD, paid once.

2.1 What is included

  1. Up to 8 pages. A showcase website of up to eight pages, chosen by you in the onboarding questionnaire (for example: home, about, services, gallery, pricing, team, FAQ, contact).
  2. Your texts, written by us. We write the text of every page, optimized for search engines, in to be completed: copy language (see section 4).
  3. Custom design. A design made for your business, based on your answers, your colors, your logo and the reference sites you share. We do not resell a stock template under your name.
  4. Responsive layout. The site adapts to phones, tablets and desktop screens.
  5. Basic SEO. Page titles and meta descriptions, a clean heading structure, text alternatives for images, a sitemap and a robots file, and a site that search engines can index.
  6. Two revision rounds. After you see the preview, you can request two rounds of changes (see section 5).
  7. Launch and first year of hosting. We put the finished site online on to be completed: client site host, connect it to your domain name (provided you give us the access we need, see section 7), and host it for 12 months from the day it goes live.
  8. Three months of small edits. For 90 days after your site goes live, we make small edits to it at no extra cost (see section 6).

2.2 What is not included

Anything that is not listed in section 2.1 is not included in the 500 USD price. In particular, the following are not included:

  1. Online shop, bookings, member areas, or any other custom feature.
  2. More than eight pages.
  3. Translation of your site into additional languages.
  4. Logo design or brand identity.
  5. Buying your domain name. You buy and own your domain name in your own name.
  6. Hosting after the first 12 months. to be completed: hosting renewal policy
  7. Large changes after launch (anything that is not a small edit as defined in section 6), and any edit requested after the 90 day post launch period.

If you want something that is not included, ask us first. We will tell you whether we can do it and what it costs, and nothing extra is charged without your written agreement.

2.3 Price and payment

The price is 500 USD for the whole service, paid once, in full, at the time of ordering through Stripe Checkout. Stripe processes your payment; we never see or store your full card details.

Where we are required by law to charge sales tax, VAT or GST, the amount is shown at checkout before you pay. to be completed: tax display policy

You receive a receipt by email from Stripe once the payment succeeds.

2.4 When the contract starts

The contract between you and us starts when your payment succeeds. We then send you an email with a sign in link to your client dashboard, and a confirmation of your order and of the choices you made at checkout.

2.5 Our right to decline or cancel an order

We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, at any time before work starts, without having to give a reason. If we do, we refund you in full, and neither of us has any further obligation to the other under that order.

3. How it works, and how long it takes

  1. Order. You pay on Stripe Checkout. You receive a sign in link by email. There is no password: each time, we email you a single use link.
  2. Brief. You fill in the onboarding questionnaire in your dashboard: your activity, your audience, the pages you want (up to eight), any texts or information you already have, colors, reference sites, a link to your logo, and the domain name you want. We never start working before we receive your questionnaire.
  3. Texts. We write the texts of your pages and share them in your dashboard for your approval.
  4. Design. Once you have approved the texts, we design and build your site.
  5. Preview. We share a private preview link in your dashboard.
  6. Revisions. You request up to two revision rounds, or tell us the preview is fine.
  7. Launch. We put the site online and share the final link. The date your site goes live is shown in your dashboard.
  8. Post launch period. For 90 days from that date, you can send us small edits.

Your dashboard shows the status of your order at every step.

Timeline. We aim to share your texts within to be completed: copy delivery business days business days after we receive your complete questionnaire, to share the preview within to be completed: delivery business days business days after you approve the texts, and to apply each revision round within to be completed: revision business days business days after you request it. These are target timelines, not guarantees. If we expect to be late, we tell you in your dashboard.

Waiting on you. The clock stops while we wait for something from you (an answer, an approval, access to your domain). If we do not hear from you for to be completed: inactivity days days after reminding you twice, we may treat the project as finished in its current state. Before doing so we will send you a final notice by email.

4. Your texts

  1. What we deliver. For each page of your site, we write the text: headings, body text, calls to action, page titles and meta descriptions. We write them from your questionnaire answers and any information you give us, and we optimize them for the searches your customers are likely to make.
  2. Your approval. We share the texts in your dashboard before we start the design. You either approve them, or send us one consolidated list of corrections, which we apply before asking for your approval again. This correction step does not use up a revision round. Texts can also be adjusted later, as part of a revision round or a small edit.
  3. If you do not respond. If you have not approved or commented on the texts within to be completed: copy approval days days, we remind you. If you still do not respond within to be completed: revision reminder days days after the reminder, the texts count as approved and we start the design.
  4. Accuracy is your call. We write from what you tell us, but you know your business. Before approving, check that every fact is right: your services, prices, opening hours, qualifications, licences, guarantees, and any claim about your results. By approving the texts, you confirm they are accurate and that you are entitled to make these statements.

5. The revision rounds

  1. You get two revision rounds, included in the price.
  2. For each round, send all the changes you want in one request, using the "Request my revision" button in your dashboard. The button is disabled once both rounds have been used.
  3. A revision covers changes to the design and content of the agreed pages: texts, images, colors, layout adjustments, order of sections. It does not cover adding pages, adding features excluded in section 2.2, or starting the design again from scratch.
  4. Please request each round within to be completed: revision window days days after we share the preview or the updated preview. If you do not, we will remind you, and if you still do not respond within to be completed: revision reminder days days, the current preview counts as approved and we move to launch.
  5. Corrections of our own mistakes (a broken link, a typo we introduced, a layout bug) are fixed free of charge and never use up a revision round or a small edit.

6. Small edits after launch

  1. The 90 day period. For 90 days from the date your site goes live (the date shown in your dashboard), you can ask us for small edits at no extra cost. Requests sent within this period are carried out even if we finish them after it ends. Requests sent after it ends are not included.
  2. What a small edit is. A small edit is a change to the existing pages of your site that takes us roughly under one hour, such as:
    1. changing or replacing text;
    2. replacing images, or adding an image to an existing section;
    3. changing colors;
    4. swapping a section for another one, or changing the order of sections.
  3. What a small edit is not. Adding a page, adding a feature, redesigning a page or the whole site, or any change that would take us substantially more than one hour. These are large changes and are not included. If you ask for one, we will tell you, and we can quote it separately.
  4. How to ask. Send your request from your dashboard. We aim to make each small edit within to be completed: small edit business days business days. Several small edits can be sent together; each one counts separately against the one hour guide. To keep the service fair for every customer, we handle up to 10 small edits per calendar month.
  5. Unused edits. The post launch period is a window, not a credit. Edits you do not request before it ends do not carry over and are not refunded.

7. Your responsibilities

  1. Accurate information. You give us complete and accurate answers in the questionnaire, and you answer our questions within a reasonable time.
  2. Your material. You supply the images, logo and any other material you want on your site, as well as any text or information you want us to use. You confirm that you own this material or have the right to use it on a website, and that it does not break any law or infringe anyone else's rights.
  3. Your domain. You buy and own your domain name. To launch the site, you give us the access or the DNS settings we ask for. We use this access only to launch and host your site.
  4. Your website's legal compliance. You are responsible for what your site says and for the legal obligations that apply to your business and your website (for example privacy notices, cookie rules, consumer information, licences), including in the texts we wrote and you approved.
  5. Your account. Keep access to the email address you used to order. Anyone who can open your email can sign in to your dashboard.

You allow us to use the material you supply only to write, design, build, launch, host and support your site.

Personal data of your website's visitors. While we host your site, we may process personal data of its visitors on your behalf (for example contact form submissions and server logs). For that data, you are the controller and we are your processor. Our Data Processing Agreement applies to that processing and forms part of these terms.

8. Who owns the website

  1. Ownership transfers to you on full payment. Once you have paid the full price (which happens at checkout) and the payment has not been refunded or reversed, you own the design, the code and the texts we created specifically for your site, and all the material you supplied remains yours.
  2. Your files. On request, we give you a copy of your site's files, so that you can host it elsewhere, now or after the first year.
  3. Third party components. Your site may use components made by others, such as open source code, typefaces, icons or images. These stay the property of their owners and are licensed to you under their own licence terms, which we will point you to on request. We only use components whose licences allow use on your site.
  4. Our general know how. We keep our general skills, methods, and reusable tools that are not specific to your site. Where any of these are built into your site, you get a permanent, worldwide, royalty free licence to use them as part of your site.
  5. Portfolio. We will only show your site in our portfolio or marketing if you say yes. You can withdraw that permission at any time.
  6. If the payment is reversed. If your payment is refunded or reversed (for example through a chargeback), the rights described in point 1 do not transfer, and you must stop using the design, code and texts we created. If you received a partial refund, the rights transfer once you have paid for the work you keep.

9. Acceptable use

We do not build websites that:

  1. are illegal, or promote illegal goods, services or activities;
  2. infringe intellectual property or other rights of anyone else;
  3. are fraudulent, deceptive, or designed to collect personal or financial information under false pretences;
  4. impersonate a real person, company or organisation;
  5. contain hate speech, harassment, violence, or content that sexualises minors;
  6. contain sexually explicit material;
  7. distribute malware or spam.

If we find that a project falls into one of these categories, we may refuse it, stop working on it, or stop hosting it. If we stop before launch, we refund you in full when you could not reasonably have known the project was not acceptable, and otherwise we refund the part of the price that corresponds to work not yet done.

You must also use your dashboard and our messaging fairly: no abuse of our team, no attempts to access other customers' data, no attempts to break or overload our systems.

10. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation, refunds, and the 14 day right of withdrawal for consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom are explained in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. What we promise, and what we do not

  1. We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill, and the delivered site will match the description in section 2.1.
  2. If the delivered site does not match that description, tell us and we will fix it at no cost.
  3. We do not promise any particular number of visitors, search ranking, enquiries or sales. Search optimized texts improve your chances of being found; they cannot guarantee it.
  4. We do not control third party services (your domain registrar, browsers, search engines, and the infrastructure providers we rely on to host your site). We are not responsible for their outages or changes, but we will do what we reasonably can to restore your site quickly during the hosting period.
  5. Except for the promises in this section and any rights you have under mandatory law, the service is provided without other warranties.

Your legal rights. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill or as described. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

12. Limitation of liability

  1. Our total liability to you for everything arising from your order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.
  2. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill.
  3. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
  4. If you are a consumer, the limits in points 1 and 2 apply only as far as the law of your country allows.

13. Ending the contract

  1. By you. You can cancel at any time by writing to hello@tidypage.app. What you get back depends on how far the work has gone, as set out in our Refund Policy.
  2. By us. We may end the contract if you seriously break these terms (for example under section 9) and do not fix the problem within 7 days of our request, where it can be fixed.
  3. When the service ends. The design and build work ends when your site goes live. The small edit period ends 90 days later. The hosting period ends 12 months after go live. Sections 8, 11, 12 and 14 continue to apply after that.

14. Governing law and disputes

  1. These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
  2. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another country whose law gives you mandatory protection, you keep that protection, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live.
  3. If something goes wrong, please write to hello@tidypage.app first. We will try to resolve the issue with you within 30 days.
  4. If we cannot resolve it, the courts of to be completed: courts jurisdiction have jurisdiction, subject to point 2.

15. General

  1. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one you accepted at checkout. We show the date of the last update at the top of this page.
  2. Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by events we cannot reasonably control. If that happens, we will tell you and do our best to limit the impact.
  3. Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another company that takes over the Tidypage service, provided your rights are not reduced. You may not transfer your order without our agreement.
  4. Severability. If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
  5. Entire agreement. These terms, the Refund Policy, the Data Processing Agreement and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about your order.
  6. Language. These terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails, except where the law of your country says otherwise.
